New Face: Maja Matković
As I was browsing through Models.com this afternoon, I came across a new model with, hands down, the most interesting face I’ve seen in a while. She’s got a wonderfully unique androgynous look and amazingly long legs! Some are speculating that her height of 6’1 might be a bit problematic; however, I’m convinced that with a face like that, you can’t go wrong. This girl will be a star, no doubt about it! I’m quite eager to see what kinds of fierce editorials she’ll be featured in!

Cosmetic Perfection…
So, I was browsing the web and stumbled upon this photo. The makeup here is simply impeccable! (with the help of Photoshop, of course… but that’s beside the point. LOL) As a makeup artist, I couldn’t help but admire!… Oh, the precision of that winged eyeliner… the satin finish of that red lip. *smiles & sighs* Not to mention just how well the brown shadow was blended in the model’s crease! Gotta love a well-done pinup look!

Hakuhodo? Hmmm…
So, lately I’ve been hearing lots of buzz about a brand of makeup brushes that are, supposedly, life-changing. Now, as a professional makeup artist, I couldn’t help but dig deeper into these claims. The company is called Hakuhado, and apparently, their brushes are super-duper awesome. I have yet to try them out for myself, as they’ve got a pretty hefty price tag on them, but several makeup artists swear by them. I’ll definitely try to get my hands on some of these brushes soon, to see what all the fuss is about. And when I do, you guys will be the first to know!

Versace for H&M!!!
Yep. That’s right. Versace. For H&M. Umm… How freakin’ awesome is that?! Starting on November 17th of this year, regular ol’ folks like you and I will finally be able to sport clothes from the renowned designer. Now of course, we can’t expect to get the stuff we see on the runways of New York Fashion Week, but it’s still pretty awesome, nonetheless. It should be quite interesting to see how many people flood their local stores to get their hands on this collection. I can already imagine the chaos that will occur. *sigh* Oh, the things we endure to live the fab life… But anyway, while you wait for your chance to get trampled at the entrance of your local H&M, check out this amazing photo from the campaign featuring two of my personal faves, Daphne Groeneveld and Lindsey Wixson! I don’t know about you, but I’m psyched!
